At last I know for sure that I do not have a heel spur. So plantar fascitis it is....well I guess the orthotics will fix the problem eventually. So if I have to wear them 24 hours a day until it's better, that's what going to happen. Plus the exercises and all the rest of the treatments......I do love to run and I'm not giving up.
Winter arrived today with a snowfall of 3 inches but of course it is too early to stay so I imagine by morning it will have melted. It's really funny to watch people on their way to work, you know they want to go their usual speed but afraid so I guess that's good, they are actually thinking while they are driving for a change. I've noticed lately that fewer people are talking on their cell phones too. I think maybe the message is finally getting across plus if you get caught and you're in an accident because of your lack of attention well you are going to pay.
Well tomorrow is set up for the Craft Fair and I am ready. Bring it on!
My son called this evening from Boot Camp, he is in the Armed Forces. Tomorrow is their day to get their badges for their caps. So he was busy ironing and polishing his boots. Funny how things change. Two months ago he was sleeping till 2 or 3 in the afternoon just waiting to be called.....they grow up fast, he's 20 and it just seems a short time ago I was tying his hockey skates.
So I am glad it's Friday tomorrow.........work has been stressful the last few weeks so each weekend is a blessed event. Night! Ps. I will run tomorrow maybe not far but I will go out..............:)I will try and remember to get a photo of the snow, it is quite beautiful and pristine.
I am a runner and a crafter. I love trying new projects and decorating our home. I'm a little OCD and a tad ADD hence the need to try it all! Fitting in a daily run is a challenge but we do what we can.

It's Wednesday and the middle of the week has passed...I have to admit starting this blog is going to keep me on track. I have committed to a Artisans Fair this weekend and what made me do that I will never know. Oh yes, it was my friend Susan....so I will blame her. Funny thing is I've done this before and said I would not do it again. But you see I embarked on this rather flukey experiment and it worked! Making things out of cement. That's right cement, concrete whatever....they are unique the things that I have made but a tad heavy! So after this weekend I am sure I will relax.
I went for a run last night with my running partner and I don't usually do the nighttime routine but my mornings have been spent in solitude on the treadmill watching craft shows before I go to work. But I have to say running at night puts a whole new perspective on running. I love to see how people decorate their houses for Halloween or just Autumn in general, some are just so pretty. Next to Christmas, Fall is my favourite season. Not so much Halloween.:( So, I usually run with a group at the awful hour of 5:30am but like I said this week I have been off not to mention with great disgust I have plantar fascitis and my heel has been giving me grief......but that's another story.....so that's it for my day, good nite and God Bless, and let there be peace with our fallen soldiers and their families......

Something new
Well this is a first for me but lately there has been a lot of those. New beginnings, new adventures, and realizations that come to me at very odd times of the day. Yes, I am crafty(maybe too much for my own good) and yes, I am offically a runner. I know an odd combination but then the older I get, the odder I seem to get. I love to craft but I also love to run and have to balance that all between working, being a wife and mother to three children (althou they are adults now...but you're always a "Mom". So until I get a handle on this I will probably ramble. So bear with me and maybe we will survive!
